ifilm English to air final curtain for ‘Gharib’s World’

ifilm English channel has set to air final episode for the series ‘Gharib’s World’ on Wednesday night.

Finale for the series, directed, written and edited by Kianoush Ayyari, will be aired on July 24, 2019.

‘Gharib’s World’ has a look at the life and times of Doctor Mohammad Gharib, from the time he was born to the very end of his life.

The doctor was a famous pediatrician who is known as founder of pediatric practice in Iran and established a specialized hospital to cure children.

Sick, on a hospital bed, Doctor Gharib takes us back to his childhood, youth and later years.

While doing so, he gives us an insight about Iran’s political and economic situation at the time.

Notable among the cast are Reza Babak, Mehran Rajabi, Mehdi Hashemi, Maryam Kaviani, Shahab Kasraee, Farahnaz Manafi-Zaher, Hossein Panahi, Sepideh Zakeri, Afarin Abisi, Kaveh Ahangar, Reza Kianian, Houshang Tavakkoli, Elnaz Habibi, Amir-Hossein Seddiq, Saba Kamali, Bahareh Afshari, Zohreh Hamidi, Maryam Soltani, Reza Fayyazi, Mir-Taher Mazloumi, and Nasser Hashemi.

‘Gharib’s World’, produced in 2007, will be replaced by ‘In the Eye of the Storm’ made by Masoud Jafari-Jozani.
